Negative Space

 This picture is pretty simple but it shows negative space by the wall contrasted to the subject.

 This picture is equal negative space and positive space.

 This picture is half negative space and a quarter positive space and a quarter neutral space.

 This picture is very simple but still shows the negatives vs. the positives.

 I like this picture because it is almost all negative with highlights of positive space.

I like this picture because it is shows the whole scene but it is still more negative than positive.

Personal Poject

 I like this picture because the light makes it almost rule of thirds and there is a cool contrast between the sky and the building.

 This picture was taken in Portland and i like it because it was taken in the middle of the city where i felt very comfortable.

 I liked how the sunset was fading away and the texture of the waves along with the horizon.

 This picture was very pleasing to take because it shows a large amount of space with different areas that contain different terrain and different purposes but anywhere where is visible is a place where i would like to be.

 I likes the sunset and the foreground background in this picture.

 This picture is nice to look at because of all the bright colors and the foreground background that keeps repeating.

I like this picture because of the repetition and how it was along the street downtown where it was just there and not set up specifically for anything.

Meyerowitz Style

This is one of my favorite pictures in this series because of all the different lines that this photo has and the way that the buildings are close together.

I took this picture because i wanted to involve water in it and it has repetition in the background.

This picture is in Meyerowitz style because there are big buildings and a little blue sky in the background.

There are multiple people in this photo and it is from above which is a nice change from many previous photos i have taken.

This photo is one of my favorite and it is in Meyerowitz style. I like the crains in the background and the multiple buildings.

Rainforest macro photography

 In this picture i just like the shapes of the horses.

 I really like this picture because of the colors of the characters and the background.

 This picture is cool because it is macro photography but it is also foreground background as well.

 This picture is funny because it is all realistic items except for the character in the bottom right of the picture.

 I like this picture because of the tiger and the contrast between the objects and the picture in the background.

This is a picture of a truck driving through the river in a rainforest and it represents deforestation.

This picture is not Richard Avedon style because the background isn't completely white but i like how it has traces of other colors throughout.

I think this picture benefits from the lack of a black background because the shadows and the blue sky in the background add to this picture a lot.

In this picture the background is kind of blown out by the light and in the front there is his face which is kind of funny so i think it is not the most enjoyable to look at.

 This picture is not Avedon style because it is not white and black and it is not in front of a white background. Also the model is not squared up to the camera.

This picture is Avedon style because there is a white background even though it is not black and white. Also the model is squared to the camera and the picture mostly focuses on her face which is Avedon style.

This picture is not Avedon style because the expression is kind of artificial but the background is white and there are slight shadows which add to the picture.

I like this picture because it has a white background like Avedon and she is not looking at my camera but still posing which makes a good picture.
