Alexi has a unique style in that she takes a lot of time and thought on every photo that she takes.  I wanted to put her portrait in front of books because i feel that how she presents so much detail in her pictures the books represent details in this picture. Also she has so many pictures that i feel she could fill up all of these books with good quality pictures.
Leah has a very pretty urban style of photography. Her pictures can be simple or complex but they always have a very nice tone to them and have depth to them. I also like Leah's style because they show the city which we live in much of the time. I like this picture because it is dynamic and it shows an interesting angle.
This is Hao playing ping pong during Photography. This photo also wasn't planned, which makes the photo more fun. This is an interesting action shot since the ping pong is still in the air.
This is my bff Squidney, she takes beautiful pictures of nature and people in black and white. I didn't take her picture in black and white because i feel the color adds a lot of depth to the picture.

This photo looks really candid which is more of Ben's style. I like the background of Drew and the colors. This photo is significantly better because Ben has a past of modeling.

I like this picture a lot because of the different shapes that were formed through this picture in the mirror. I also like the contrast of colors which is still present even though it is taken through a mirror. Finally i think that the camera in the picture is also necessary to this photograph. This photograph opened me up to the idea of reflections and combining them with what the camera is actually shooting at through the glass.
I have always liked the idea of foreground and background and i felt that this picture was a good representation of what a good foreground background picture should be. Also the colors stand out a lot in this picture. It has a lot of depth to it which enhances the picture to a greater depth.
I really like this picture because the contrast between the light and the dark. I also like how you can see the reflection through the metal and the bright highlights.
This was my favorite low exposure picture that i took because of the highlights in color and how the images are still clear although they are saturated.
This is my favorite picture of the semester because of the foreground background that is created and the colors of the leaves and the reflection. I like how the whole picture is light and it doesn't have any dark or negative space.
This picture was taken in a place where you wouldnt suspect to see this but it creates the illusion that the viewer is in a forest or something of that nature. I like the colors and the reflections off the water.

Mirroring

This picture shows an only slightly distorted image of the reflection.
This has a green light tent to it and leading lines.
Abstract picture.
This picture was created with a strange angle formed by the mirror.
Simple reflection from a window.
I like this picture because of the dark metal in the front and the bright reflection which is also part of the door.
This is simply light reflecting off a window.
This reflection makes the picture look like there is motion going on.

Minimalism

I like the angle of this photo and the minimalist aspect because there is only one object in the picture.
This picture has a lot of objects and depth but it is still simple and minimalist.
This is a very simple picture which makes it minimalist.
This picture shows the shape of the flower and it makes more shapes through the shadows on the wall.
I like the textures in this picture and the foreground background which is bright and has a reflection.
I like how almost everything in this picture is white but there are also different shades throughout the picture.
I like this picture because it is all natural and has bright colors but it is still minimalist.

Personal project proposal

For my new personal project I would like to explore minimalism more in depth and focus on having maybe more natural scenes but still having them be very minimalist. I would like to take more photos outside and maybe use the natural light to make them more over exposed and low contrast which is very interesting to me. Ideally my pictures would be very white with outlines of color which would make shapes as so the viewer could recognize what the objects were.
